Keith Massey is a Co-Founder of Legacy U and Associative Director of the Legacy Youth Football League (Columbus, Ohio). After an All-American college career on the field and graduating from Kentucky State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, he continued his work at Kentucky State University on the academic side of athletics working as the Academic Athletic Director Assistant. While obtaining a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Keith found a new way to stay involved with athletics, taking on an opportunity to become the strength and conditioning coach for the Kentucky State University football team. This newfound passion would keep Keith close to the game and help him give back to the next generation of athletes; something that is very important to him.

Over the last half decade, Keith has taught Exercise Science at a local charter high school and coached football at Marion-Franklin High School and served as the Head Coach of the boys’ track team. He has used his time to mentor student-athletes outside of sports, helping them to build a plan for college life and life after sports. His main message to the student-athletes is: “Your life, your legacy!!”, a short and simple statement from a person who likes to say less and do more.

Today, Keith continues to work with the youth in many capacities in his community, currently working at a local charter school as a Retention Specialist for at risk youth. While actively working on becoming a certified personal trainer and sports conditioning coach, he currently trains youth and adult athletes in various sports. Keith will head the Sports Conditioning phase of Legacy U.
